Refund policy

This Refund Policy is divided into Five sub-sections:

This policy addresses our refund policy for each type of service offered for by Cornerstone Web Developers llc (CWD).

  1. Individual Pre-configured Website Installation Options.
    1. There are 3 distinct website packages being offered. (The Artisan Fair, The Master Artisan, and The Master Artisan Fair).
      1. Each product offers the same two installation options:
        1. Client setup from our generic pre-built website to a client branded website.
        2. CWD setup from our generic pre-built website to a client branded website.
  2. Required Monthly Hosting and Support Services Subscription.
  3. Add-On Site Capabilities Subscriptions.
  4. Additional Services
  5. Site Performance / Site Unavailability Caused by Client Policy.
 

Refund Policy Section for Individual Pre-configured Website Installation Options:

  1. If no Service has been performed by CWD you are eligible for a Full Refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction.
    1. Services being defined as any actions taken by CWD at the request of the Client, prior to, on, or after the agreed upon start date for all CWD services as they apply to Website Installation Option packages.
      1. List of Services Not Exhaustive. The list of services in this section is not an exhaustive list of the CWD Services to be provided by CWD. The CWD Services will also include those responsibilities that CWD may have as a matter of law, any services identified elsewhere in this Agreement, and any additional responsibilities and services agreed to by the Parties or that CWD performs as a matter of course.
        1. Client space set up on CWD hosting server.
        2. Importing/Setting up/Configuring/Deleting/Renaming/Branding or any activity performed that would not occur without the Clients purchase, and agreed upon start date.
        3. Any activity with respect to setting up outside accounts for client.
        4. Assigning credentials for client use on the new website.
        5. Phone consultation after purchase of Website Option Package. (If this event takes place prior to agreed upon start date, the start date will be adjusted to this date.)
  2. Any request for Refund once the site is activated:
    1. There will be a 30% cancellation fee.
  3. Any cancellation request after 14 days from site activation date:
    1. There will be 70% cancellation fee.
  4. Any cancellation request after 30 days from site activation:
    1. Is no longer eligible for Refund.
 

Refund Policy Section for Required Monthly Hosting and Support Services Subscription:

  1. If this is an initial subscription purchase and, no Service has been performed by CWD, you are eligible for a Full Refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction.
    1. Services being defined as any actions taken by CWD at the request of the Client, prior to, on, or after the agreed upon start date for all CWD services as they apply to Required Monthly Hosting and Support Services.
      1. List of Services Not Exhaustive. The list of services in this section is not an exhaustive list of the CWD Services to be provided by CWD. The CWD Services will also include those responsibilities that CWD may have as a matter of law, any services identified elsewhere in this Agreement, and any additional responsibilities and services agreed to by the Parties or that CWD performs as a matter of course.
        1. A new website specifically set up for a customer, whether the website bears the customers specific domain name, or a CWD temporary working domain name.
        2. The customer has been given their administrative access credentials, and can freely log in, and perform routine Client appropriate Administrative functions without CWD involvement.
    2. Any request for Refund once the site is activated:
      1. Annual Subscription:
        1. Initial Order:
          1. The current month is Non-Refundable.
          2. All months remaining on the subscription will be refunded.
        2. Renewal Orders:
          1. Canceled within 30 days from the date of payment qualify for a full refund if the renewal term has not started.
          2. If the new term has started, a partial refund is available for all fees except the fee due for the first month of the new term.
      2. Monthly Subscription:
        1. Current Month is Non-Refundable.

Refund Policy Section for Add-On Site Capabilities Subscriptions:

  1. If no Service has been performed by CWD you are eligible for a Full Refund within 30 days of the date of the transaction.
    1. Services being defined as any actions taken by CWD at the request of the Client, prior to, on, or after the agreed upon start date for all CWD services as they apply to Refund for Add-On Site Capabilities Subscriptions.
      1. List of Services Not Exhaustive. The list of services in this section is not an exhaustive list of the CWD Services to be provided by CWD. The CWD Services will also include those responsibilities that CWD may have as a matter of law, any services identified elsewhere in this Agreement, and any additional responsibilities and services agreed to by the Parties or that CWD performs as a matter of course.
        1. Purchase of add-on license.
        2. Installation of add-on software to website.
        3. Yearly renewal of License subscription.
  2. Any request for Refund once Service has been performed by CWD:
      1. Initial Order:
        1. Is Non-Refundable.
      2. Renewal Orders:
          1. Canceled within 30 days from the date of payment qualify for a full refund if the renewal term has not started.
          2. If the new term has started Is Non-Refundable.

 

Additional Services Policy:

  1. Please note that any additional services, custom work or technical support are non-refundable as our time cannot be recovered.
  2. Any work performed by a Third Party who was contracted, by CLIENT or your designated representative, are NOT covered by this Policy.

Site Performance / Site Unavailability Issues Caused by Client:

  1. Any Negative Site Performance / Site Unavailability issues resulting from CLIENT actions are NOT covered by this Policy, and will void any refund which may or may not have been forthcoming under other paragraphs covered by this policy.
    1. The term CLIENT includes anyone that gains administrative access via the Originating CLIENT. Regardless whether access was granted by Originating CLIENT, or by fraud.
    2. The CLIENT is solely responsible for the security, and access, to their credentials.
      1. CWD will in no wise will maintain CLIENT password after initial issue of CLIENT credentials.
    3. List of Site Performance / Site Unavailability Issues Not Exhaustive. The list of Site Performance / Site Unavailability Issues in this section is intended to be representative of issues that fall under this heading.
      1. Website unavailable.
      2. Website deleted.
      3. Website requires restoration from backup.
      4. Website performance (example: page load times become unacceptably long) decreases dramatically from previously established performance metric.
      5. Page or site timeouts.
      6. Broken or misdirected URL links.
      7. Introduction of Virus.
      8. Compromised security of the Site.
  2. SITE RECOVERY:
    1. ALL recovery efforts required to get the site back to full operational capability will be billed at CWD Emergency billing rate of $150.00 per hour
      1. Starting from the time CWD becomes aware of the problem.
      2. This rate is a charge for a full hour.
        1. Definition of an hour:
          1. Any work into an hour longer than 15 minutes will be considered a full hour for billing.
